Terms & Conditions


1. The owner has the first right on his house, should the house booked become unavailable, we reserve the right to move a booking to alternative accommodation of an equal or higher standard.

2. We ask that all accommodation to be paid before or on arrival, to avoid confusion about rates and to avoid waiting on busy mornings when all guests want to check in.

3. A laundry service is available and the bill will be for the Guest's account. We provide bath towels and linen; just bring your own swimming towels.

4. Cleaning service (no ironing) can be arranged at a cost of R240 (arrange the day before)

5. Some houses are equipped with washing machines, tumble driers and dishwashers. We are not responsible for the working of that equipment as it is there for the owners use.

6. If your house has DSTV, please bring your own DSTV card or you can bring your own decoder and card

7. Check-In time is 16:00 and check-out time is 10:00 during season, school holidays and long week-ends. Out of season, you can normally check-in at 14:00. If you would like to check-in earlier or check-out later, this MUST BE PRE-ARRANGED. If permission is granted, we will charge you a fee of up to half a day’s stay. If you do not pre-arrange, a half days fee with be deducted from your breakage deposit.

Cancellation Policy


Any "Peak Season" bookings (1st December to 31st January), cancelled after the end October will forfeit 100% of their deposit. Bookings for the remainder of the year are subject to the following:


Less than 7 days forfeit 100% of Deposit
From 7 to 14 days forfeit 75% of Deposit.
From 15 to 21 days forfeit 50% of Deposit.
From 22 to 28 days forfeit 25% of Deposit.
From 29 days forfeit 10% of Deposit

All cancellations must be done in writing

Breakage Deposits

Breakage deposits are charged in order to maintain the high standard of our units. Please report any shortages at the beginning of your stay and any breakages at the end of your stay.

Penalties

We charge penalties for the following:
Your breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 days of your departure, once we have checked the unit. Please ensure that you give us correct bank or credit card details!
